Ah, my favorite pairing from FFX-2, aaaahh Shuyiiiiin, how from a pretty average Tidus you end up with a gooooorgeous Shuyin *___* His madness is very moving and this pairing is so melancholic, that’s what I wanted this drawing to express, a couple sad from having been seperated for so long, however you can feel they have a special bond… Anyway, I hadn’t got such a crush on a FF pairing since FFVII ^___^

Very nicely done. You left out the textues of things like her lace skirt and such, but I think it was for the better in this piece. The simplicity allows the viewer to look deeper into the feeling that this artwork portrays! Awesome work and I have always like the Lenne/ Shuyin pairing, so cute :3

Lenne and Shuyin -made- that game work. Without them, it would have been nothing.

Shuyin is my favorite Final Fantasy villain^^ Might not be awesomely psychotic like Kefka, dark and prophetic like Sephiroth, or... well, screwed in the head like Seymour... but he has something I've seen in no other Final Fantasy main villain.

Humanity.
Kefka did what he did because he just plain out hated people.
Sephiroth did what he did because mommy told him to.
Seymour did what he did because... he was screwed in the head.
Almost any Final Fantasy villain before that did what they did for the sake of being badguys.

But Shuyin did what he did out of a huge mixture of love, hate, passion and revenge.

GAH! Sorry for all the rambling. Lovely picture!

Well, I agree with you for Shuyin. Shuyin and Lenne have a so tragic death and it's really beautiful to see that Shuyin can't rest in peace because of his anger and his love for Lenne ! :)

Well, I repeat myself but I totally agree with you ! Shuyin has... emotions and don't want the world for himself. He doesn't know how to find peace without Lenne, that's all. I can't think of him as a bad guy, but he's a passionate guy ! I love that ! :blowkiss:

Your welcome^^ It frustrates me when people say FFx-2 was a bad game- most of the people who say that also say "they put it down after the first twenty minutes". Like a 40 + hour game can be judges soley on 20 minutes of gameplay o.O;

Yeah, I agree with you. Or they say "Yuna as a J-Pop Songtress ? No way !"... Well... I'm very glad in this opus, Yuna can laugh and joke like an ordinary girl of her age !

Lot of people want her to be.. unhappy, sad, mature, so and so.... But well... She's 19 ! I don't think I would be sad and serious forever at this age. I want to have fun, and I'm glad Yuna has fun in FFX-2 :)

It was.... relieving I think :)
