Artist's Comments

While I was coloring a picture for Apo.kvay (a french artist from the web too) representing elves, well, it made me want to draw one, and obviously I couldn’t do a good elf (yeah, me and the dark side… AHAHAH ^___^;;;) So in the end she seems pretty sure of her charms, a little mysterious and probably sadistic… Gentlemen, beware… ^_^
It can be noted I messed up the background a little. Some of the beams of light are askew ^^;;

...I thought the background was what really brought out the character! It looks good, you manage that detailed effect and i love it, like theres clutter, but not the kind that gets in the way!

Excellent picture. The level of detail is impressive and the colouring is beautiful.
The background doesn't seem messed up at all, quite the opposite in fact. Any beams that are askew just make the background seem more natural.

I was quite unconvinced about the background, I'm glad you like it!
But I still have work to do in this area (my big weakness XD)

My pleasure! You're lucky backgrounds are your big weakness...... I personally struggle with hands.... no matter how much I practice they just don't improve as readily as other aspects of my (not exactly great but slowly improving) drawings.

Ah.. Hands ae quite beautiful. My are strange but I like how I drawn them :) It's difficult, but when you'll drawn them well, it's a big joy :D
